Space time atmo.

While trying to get my microphone to work, it was having this unusual feed back buzzing pulsing sounds. Along with a strange noise. (this wasn't my voice, and the file hasn't been edited. ). "who's there?" and the "hello's" are of course me, trying to get the microphone to work. I decided to record it after i felt it was strange. I made this one a morning while having a cup of strong java. It's done in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. Made a drumbeat with open hi-hat. After 4 rounds the hi-hat closes and a cowbell comes in. Did a bassline to go with the beat. Then i added instruments on top of that. Starts out pretty mellow in minor, dark. Then builds up with the bass, and after that a loud synthesizer and back to a more mellow part. I think it's a bit spacey/sci-fi. That's why i named it "exit planet terror". Created for fun to document the first test launch of the (fictional) falkon8 space rocket to take humanity to the rings of saturn. After the countdown the engines start. During liftoff, ground control engineers talk to the pilots to help keep the rocket on the right course. The launch crew and pilots are talking in a particular regional northeastern italian dialect. The mission launched from the san marco platform, italian "luigi broglio" space center. This is a collection of whooshes that i created using melted sounds' whoosh reaktor patch, loaded with a collection of samples i recorded of a piece of sheet metal being rubbed with my hand. There are 35 different whooshes of fairly similar length in 01, and 29 varied whooshes in 02 which were hand-performed within the patch. Ps. I was mucking about with a new mic when i started playing around with audacity and came up with this. I don't know what it sounds like, but it sounds kind of spacey so i named it spaceship. This was made with my voice and audacity.
